Fill your kitchen with a supply of lower calorie basic items such as the following:

Dairy

  • Skimmed or semi skimmed milk, low fat yogurt or cottage cheese
  • An olive oil based reduced fat spread
  • Eggs

Bread, Rice, Potatoes & Pasta

  • Breads, bagels, pitta bread, wholemeal muffins
  • Soft corn tortillas
  • Low fat, low sodium crackers, crispbreads
  • Plain cereal, dry or cooked (not toasted/crunchy)
  • Rice, pasta, bulgar wheat, oats, pearl barley
