Select foods which are:

  • Steamed

  • Grilled

  • Baked

  • Dry Roasted

  • Poached

  • Lightly sauteed or stir fried

  • Raw

  • Fresh  

Ask the waiter:

  • To serve low fat spread or olive oil rather than butter with the meal.
  • To offer skimmed or semi-skimmed milk rather than whole milk or cream.
  • To trim visible fat from poultry or meat.
  • Serve salad dressings and sauces separately allowing you the option of controlling quantity or leaving it out.
